Child Safety Policy
Last updated: June 21, 2026
If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 (US) or your local emergency services.
To report child sexual exploitation online, contact the NCMEC CyberTipline at 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678) or cybertipline.org.
Our Commitment
chatwithme.fun has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), the grooming of minors, or any form of child sexual exploitation on our platform. We are committed to proactively detecting, removing, and reporting such content to law enforcement and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
chatwithme.fun is an 18+ platform. We do not knowingly allow minors to use our service and take active steps to enforce this requirement.
Age Enforcement
- All users are required to provide their date of birth at signup. Accounts that do not meet the 18+ age requirement are blocked from being created.
- Accounts discovered to belong to minors — regardless of how they were created — are terminated immediately and their data deleted.
- Users who knowingly help a minor circumvent our age gate violate our Terms of Service and are permanently banned.
- We act on reports of underage users as quickly as possible.
Detection & Moderation
- Automated content moderation — AI-assisted scanning flags potentially harmful content before it reaches recipients.
- User reporting — every message, profile, and room has an in-app report button. Reports are reviewed promptly.
- Hash-matching — we are committed to implementing PhotoDNA or equivalent CSAM hash-matching technology to detect known CSAM before it is transmitted.
- Proactive monitoring — our moderation team reviews flagged content and escalates to law enforcement when required.
CSAM Reporting (Legal Obligation)
Under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, electronic service providers are required by US federal law to report apparent child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to the NCMEC CyberTipline. chatwithme.fun complies with this obligation. When we become aware of apparent CSAM on our platform, we:
- Immediately remove the content and suspend the account.
- Preserve the relevant data and report it to the NCMEC CyberTipline (cybertipline.org).
- Cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations, including providing account data, IP addresses, and message records under valid legal process.
Law Enforcement Cooperation
We cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies investigating child exploitation, trafficking, and abuse. We respond to valid legal process (subpoenas, court orders, search warrants) and proactively contact law enforcement when we identify credible, imminent threats to a child's safety — even without a formal legal request.
Law enforcement agencies may contact us at hello@chatwithme.fun for urgent matters involving child safety.
